The Justice Parker Lee McDonald Law Library and the Highlands County Bar Association invite you to this celebration of our legal system and freedoms in downtown Sebring. Our keynote speaker, Chief Justice Jorge Labarga of the Florida Supreme Court will speak on this year's theme, "Miranda: More Than Words," recognizing the 50th anniversary of the landmark U.S. Supreme Court case, Miranda v. Arizona.
This luncheon is part of the Highlands County Bar Association's annual Law Day program, and will be attended by this year's Jani Branham Scholarship recipient. Additionally, the HCBA will announce the recipients of the Judge Clifton M. Kelly Award, the Law Day Award, and the Judge David Langford Professionalism Award.
